Updated 2024 Chinese Clinical Practice Guidelines: Diagnosis and Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia
The incidence of androgenetic alopecia has been rising annually and is affecting increasingly younger individuals, causing distress among many patients. In recent years, numerous novel treatments and approaches have emerged for androgenetic alopecia, necessitating an update in treatment strategies. Additionally, with the growth of the hair industry, a significant influx of practitioners into the field of androgenetic alopecia diagnosis and treatment has been observed, thereby requiring evidence-based guidelines for proper direction. The guideline development working group selected relevant clinical issues, conducted evidence searches, and expert evaluations to formulate the recommended opinions, aiming to further standardize treatment decisions for androgenetic alopecia.
