In recent years, numerous novel treatments and approaches have emerged for androgenetic alopecia, necessitating an update in treatment strategies. Additionally, with the growth of the hair industry, a significant influx of practitioners into the field of androgenetic alopecia diagnosis and treatment has been observed, thereby requiring evidence-based guidelines for proper direction. The guideline development working group selected relevant clinical issues, conducted evidence searches, and expert evaluations to formulate the recommended opinions, aiming to further standardize treatment decisions for androgenetic alopecia.
