The Importance and Application of UV Phototherapy in Dermatology
1. Wide range of indications: Phototherapy is effective for many skin diseases related to immune activity
2. Remarkable effect: Most of the treatments will produce effects after about 10 treatments, and continuous treatment can reach 70~80% skin lesion regression rate
3. Minimal side effects: In the past 20 years of work, no patient has had serious side effects due to UV phototherapy, and there has not been a single case of canceration due to irradiation. Redness, swelling, and blisters have occurred due to a single overdose of irradiation. Symptomatic treatment generally does not cause ulcers and scars .
4. It can be used repeatedly, and it still has a good effect if it relapses after being cured.
